Wednesday Weekend Wrap-Up

1.  Mark finished installing the refrigeration parts on the boat for our Isotherm system. We had to move the boat and haul it out to install the thru-hull fitting that has the built in heat exchanger/condenser on it. I helped Mark with this part but I really think he needed a guy or someone a little more stronger than myself. After a little arguing we got it installed and ready to put back in the water. Once we were back in the water Mark finished with the inside installation. He mounted the compressor and the evaporator and wired everything up. We let it run for a few hours and we finally have a refrigerator on the boat! He did it, so proud of him. And of course can't leave out that Markey was a big help too......

2.  Since Mark finished the refrigerator, we went as a family and brought the boat back to its slip. I promise Markey enjoyed it, even if he doesn't look like he did.

3.  We ordered 275 feet of chain and it was delivered a week ago. Since we brought the boat back Mark was able to move the chain to the boat. He bought some colored zip ties and marked the chain at every 25 feet. He did a great job on this and I know it might sound like a simple task, it took an entire afternoon. He got his workout for the day!

4.  We celebrated my first Mother's Day. I still am amazed that I am someones mother. Some days I am very overwhelmed but I am thankful to be given the opportunity to have a job that is so important.
